Most contractors chase only the biggest jobs—so small but urgent projects get pushed to “someday.”

While our roots began with smaller projects, don’t let that history limit the name. Today, SJS General Contracting handles everything from targeted repairs to full basement, bathroom, and kitchen remodels.

How It Started

I’m Michael, owner-operator of SJS General Contracting.

After more than a decade working hands-on in residential construction, I kept seeing the same issue:
Homeowners waiting weeks—or months—for projects that shouldn’t take that long.

Things like:
